is Tasker app tested to work on this version?
Still having freeze issues trying to make a call after updating to this Rom. Anything I can try to fix?
thanks in advance but can i just flash over the old version and upgrade without loosing anything or do i have to do a fresh clean flash ?
Does it support GSM? i installed the 2.37 and there was no option to change the mobile network.
no worries just did an update with no problems on desire s saga but can't get the icons to change on the revolution skin they still appear as standard ? maybe a bug I'm not sure.
I figured it out, its when bluetooth is connected and trying to make a call, the phone freezes and hangs up. When off of bluetooth, the call goes through.

Yeah i tried it on my droid incredible 2 and eventually it just got stuck in a boot loop after using it for about an hour

I have a DINC2- is the consensus that I should wait to flash it? (currently running 2.37 without any issues)
installed v2.39...the google talk video orientation problem on myTouch 4G as reported by me under comments for v2.37 still remains :-( also T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling connection settings are all displayed as junk...though wi-fi calling works fine...hope you can sort out these issues in future release

superb...i love your ROM... using it for a desire z and it is sooooo smoth and runs like butter...when i turn 3g off it stays in standby more than a week...i already donated, because this is a custom rom i want on every android phone ;o)
2.39 doesn't work at all on HTC Desire Z.
Freezes constantly without regards on the CPU speeds I set (I even downclocked to 700...).
It event freezes on boot, and in the rare event it gets to the PIN screen, it finally freezes after a couple or minutes or so.
Switched back to 2.37 and everything went to normal.
please someone let me know can this be flashed over 2.37 without the need of a full wipe?? I dont want to have to install everything again...

At first I thought, this update rocks... Way more sensitive, snappy & battery life is improved... any issues anyone else is experiencing is probably due to not wiping...
But after a few days I experienced my first random reboot, which lead to a boot loop. I fixed this by wiping cache, delvik cache, & fixing permissions, it happened a few times, the last one lead me to finally flash back to 2.37. The other issue was for some odd reason I was dropping calls, Ive barely every had a dropped call, let alone frequently, & on almost on every call. After a week of this I finally flashed back to 2.37 and everything is working great again.
I believe 2.39 is a great update, but just needs a little more time in the oven. I'm using a MT4G, but experience differs from phone to phone so I'd recommend checking it out for yourself.
As always you should do a full wipe along with formating system... If you really really don't want to.. then wipe cache, wipe delvik cache, format system, then flash the rom, once It's done, fix permissions & you'll be all set...

So i've tried all the different roms that you guys have released so far which are compatible with my HTC Vision and I'd had mixed (though mostly positive) experiences with Virtuous Unity. When i was using 2.37, i was happy with the general look and feel but performance was definitely lacking, I barely had any free RAM all the time so I ended up going back to Virtuous Sense. Yesterday i tried Unity 2.39 and i was CONSTANTLY having the device do hot restarts and it was incredibly slow at times. The scrolling speeds were noticeably improved but there is something wrong with the way it works which causes those restarts. I know I flashed the rom correctly as I am familiar with what you need to do. I absolutely love your work and it's very much so appreciated but it would be great if these issues could be fixed. Thanks for making the most awesome roms though, you guys are really great at what you do :).
One thing I noticed in the release notes is that the Inc 2 isn't actually supported (VivoW) in 2.39. I'm still running 2.37 on mine and it's performing almost flawlessly for me. Props to you guys for building roms that make keep the phone up to date with the newer stuff coming out. Night and day compared to the OEM OS.

okay..i reinstalled the v2.39 after doing a factory reset and formatting all my apps and data as I was having problems reported earlier...this is what I experience now and any help will be greatly appreciated..
1. Problem with Video Orientation on Gtalk still remains...its always 90 degress in the anti clockwise direction...in fact Skype was working fine until their version 2.4 now when I upgraded Skype to its new version 2.5 even that is giving same orientation problem...this does not happen on my wife's MT4G stock ROM so I feel something fishy is happening with the front camera files on the Unity ROM
2. When connected to the charger (either Wall OR USB)...screen always remain ON unless I manually turn it off by pressing the power button...I checked the setting where you can set the screen to remain ON but it is unchecked which means that it should turn OFF after its set 30 secs timer...
Need urgent help on this...Plz
anyone have a fix for the wired headset mic to work for this rom? Thx!
Will this work for DHD 2.2 or do i need to update to 2.3 for it to work Thanks in advance =)
fix for wired headset is to reflash rom without beat audio.
@ Farbar - Works for DHD as long as your phone is rooted.

Have been using if on my htc desire z for a couple of days, seems to work fine except whenever i turn off the phone it gets into an annoying boot loop once turned on...but it eventually boots up after 5-6 tries. Hope you guys can fix this :-) would make this rom flawless.
just now my desire z got stuck in a bootloop for about 50 times :-( , is there any way to fix this ?
I just flashed this ROM last night and love it so far no issues besides one. I dont know if this is a bug or feature issue. On my MT4G I have 4g coverage but my phone says 3G till i use the internet or something like a sync then it switches to 4G and then after it done back to 3G. any answers on this?
I have tried all most all the ROMs (inc.Virtuous Affinity) in my HTC desire s. But this one is awesome.. Very good battery life. Smooth.fast.. working like cham..
