    do i need to do a factory reset before flashing this? right now i have the 2.35 but since the 2.37 is basically the same rom with some tweeks in it i shouldnt have to do a factory reset right? or will that cause problems for the rom?

    I found on 2.35 with Incredible S that the phone will got a reboot loop when it lost phone signal, especially when I use app that auto set profile to air plain mode.

    I don't know what have I done but it just keeps crashing with HTC Desire Z on heavy load. I even underclocked the CPU back to 1,2 GHz.

    I did a factory reset, superwipe, installed Virtuous Unity v2.37.0 but my HTC Incredible S went into boot loop, it doesnt boot.

    after install Virtuous Unity v2.37.0 to my HTC Incredible S when i connect to pc via usb it doesnt recognise only start charging after reboot it recognise but suddenly drop connection help please

    I have several problems on my HTC myTouch 4G...some of them have carried forward right from the time I first rooted my phone for virtuous 1.35...the issues are:

    1. When using Bluetooth headset...several times it has haooened that the voice suddenly starts coming from phone during the call...even though it shows that its thru the Bluetooth headset...I have to then re connect the Bluetooth headset again...this never happened on my stock ROM and is since my unity version 1.31 days.
    2. Apps on SD card that are on the desktop all of a sudd
    en lose their icon and just the green robot icon of android appear...the apps work but their icon is lost...then i end the HTC sense 3.0 from the task manager and it records the sense UI again which bring back the icons....this again is since 1.31 days.
    3. Major issue on 2.37 that I face...I use USB Tethering a lot at work for personal internet usage at work....till now I.e. till 2.35 I didn't face issues....but with 2.37...when I connect my laptop to the phone and select USB Tethering, it comments and then drops the connection and makes It charge only....I have change it back to USB Tethering but it goes back to charge only....this happens a few times after which it finally sticks to USB Tethering ...
    4. The HTC sense UI keeps crashing in 2.37 on its own amd very frequently....and shows the unity screen saying launching....this happens so frequently that it is irritating...I am going back to 1.31 or 2.35

    BTW...when I moved from stock to unity, I factory reset everything on my phone...even when moving from 1.31 to 2.35, I factory reset everything....only when.moving from 2.35 to 2.37 I didn't factory reset and just installed 2.37 using ROM manager as always and just wiping dalvik cache...

    Please correct these problems ....I am very happy with your work otherwise. Thank you and keep up the good work...

    what video player you guys use to play 1080p h264 mpeg-4 files on incredible s? every player seems not to play the video properly? it's a full hd downloaded from youtube..
    any suggestions? thanks

    ...oh and yes 1 major issue that i found on my HTC mytouch 4G phone alone with the ones I mentioned in my post above is that with 2.35 and 2.37, google talk video orientation is not correct. My video from the front cam is always orientated at 90 degrees anti clockwise direction no matter how I hold the phone..portrait or landscape..all the other video talk apps like Skype, Qik, Tango work fine...its just the Google Talk Video..so I assume it has to do something with the ROM...

    I have a myTouch4G, and have not experienced any of the problems that Mithun has listed except the Google Video orientation problem, and the format of the WiFi calling app under "Settings" -> "Connection Preferences" does not display the options correctly. It does not affect the performance of the WiFi app though.
    Overall - A very stable and smooth ROM. I was so impressed, that I donated to your beer fund.

    Here are the odds:

    1).Whenever I exit a wifi area or a no-radio area, MT4G picks up the mobile network signal ridiculously slow, if you look into the status bar, it says the mobile network is turning on...sometimes I got lucky, but usually it takes more than 1 min or ever...
    2).Things can turn even worse that, I lost call signal and mobile network signal at the same time when I exit a no-radio area or wifi covered area. No bars, no G/E/3G/H, AT THE SAME TIME.
    3). Sometimes, even if you see bars there and 3G icon, you can't dial or receive any call, it disconnect immediately.

    I called TMO, they said signal in my area is fine and they even re-registered my SIM card. I did a full wipe and re-installed Virtuous Unity 2.37.0, good for a day or two, and the problem kicked back in.

    BTW, I'm on Radio 26.09.04.26_M

    I also uninstalled some suspicious apps that I just installed or updated within the days I first ran into this problem. No luck...

    I really love this ROM, anybody could help?
